چکیده

Abstract Filo del Sol is a composite porphyry-epithermal deposit, straddling the frontier between Argentina and Chile at latitude 28°29′ S, that has attracted great deal of recent attention because several drill intersections in excess 1 km long with unusually high Cu, Au, Ag grades. The deposit part 8.5-km-long, N- to NE-trending alignment porphyry high-sulfidation epithermal centers, which, turn, located newly defined Vicuña metallogenic belt unites well-known late Oligocene middle Miocene Maricunga El Indio belts. hosted by Permian felsic volcanic rocks intruded Triassic monzogranite and, nearer surface, shallowly dipping Late Cretaceous volcano-sedimentary rocks. These lithologic units were generations mafic dikes high-level sills Miocene, parallel swarm diorite dikes. An intermineral magmatic-hydrothermal breccia body closely associated subsequently cut shallow levels smaller, finer-grained phreatic possibly, phreatomagmatic origin. Early Cu-Au mineralization, mainly as chalcopyrite, K-feldspar- biotite-bearing potassic alteration accompanying A-type quartz-veinlet stockworks. zone was massively overprinted extensively reconstituted vuggy residual quartz silicification core flanked quartz-alunite more extensive lithocap. types host Cu-Au-Ag mineralization pyrite early enargite later bornite, chalcocite, covellite, numerous Ag-bearing sulfosalts, highest grades typically confined quartz. Magma and mineralization controles of Zavarian (Salafchegan) epithermal Au (Cu) in comparison with Sari-Gunay epitermal Au (Qorveh) deposit

Zavarian epitermal gold (copper) deposit is located in an intracontinental volcanic cone (stratovolcano) with the Early Miocene age, in the middle of the Urmia-Dokhtar magmatic arc. The host rocks of this mineralization include a set of basaltic, andesitic-basaltic, andesitic, dacitic, as well as granodiorite and tonal units that have been exposed in volcanic form (lava and pyroclastic) and sem...

Damanghor intermediate sulfidation epithermal Au mineralization, Northern Bardaskan: geology, alteration, mineralization, and geochemistry

The Damanghor gold mineralization occurrence is located in north of Bardaskan, Khorasan Razavi Province, and Taknar zone. The geology of the area consists of Precambrian green sericite schist and metarhyolite, intruded by diabase. Mineralization in this area is in vein form with N50E stribe and 70NW dip and hosted by schist and metarhyolite with 300 meters length and 2 to 35 meters width. Dissem...

The Exploration Significance of Ag/Au, Au/Cu, Cu/Mo, (Ag×Au)/(Cu×Mo) Ratios, Supra-ore and Sub-ore Halos and Fluid Inclusions in Porphyry Deposits: A Review

This paper documents the exploration significance of Ag/Au, Au/Cu, Cu/Mo and (Ag×Au)/Cu×Mo) ratios of the supra-ore and sub-ore halos versus fluid inclusion evolution for 24 Cu, 6 Cu- Mo and 10 Cu-Au porphyry deposits worldwide. The ratios are based only on the economic and mineralized hypogene alteration zones. The results indicate that (Ag×Au)/(Cu×Mo), Au/Cu and Cu/Mo ratios increase with dec...

Cu-Au, Ag-Au, Cu-Ag, and Ni-Au intermetallics: First-principles study of temperature-composition phase diagrams and structures

The classic metallurgical systems—noble-metal alloys—that have formed the benchmark for various alloy theories are revisited. First-principles fully relaxed general-potential linearized augmented plane-wave ~LAPW! total energies of a few ordered structures are used as input to a mixed-space cluster expansion calculation to study the phase stability, thermodynamic properties, and bond lengths in...

Systematics of Global Observables in Cu+Cu and Au+Au Collisions at RHIC Energies

Charged particles produced in Cu+Cu collisions at √ sNN = 200 and 62.4 GeV have been measured in the PHOBOS experiment at RHIC. The comparison of the results for Cu+Cu and Au+Au for the most central collisions at the same energy reveals that the particle density per nucleon participant pair and the extended longitudinal scaling behavior are similar in both systems. This implies that for the mos...
